Florida: A family found a message in a bottle on the beach after 37 years to the person who threw it in the ocean.
According to the Carmacks family from the US state of Florida, they were walking on the beach in the city of Sebastian when they met two teachers who were engaged in a cleanup campaign after Hurricane Nicole.
These teachers made a most unusual discovery in the form of a message in a bottle regarding the family.
The Cornmax family put the case on TikTok to track down ‘Troy Heller’, the person who wrote the message. He had written his address in Louisville, Kentucky and his phone number on the scrap.
The family searched online using Troy’s old contact information and eventually learned that a man with the same name now lives in Mount Washington, Kentucky.
Troy Heller said that at first he ignored the unknown call from Florida, but a subsequent message caught his attention.
