Ankara: Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said that he will meet with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad when the time comes.
According to the international news organization, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan will soon meet with his fierce rival Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, for which the process of negotiations is ongoing at the level of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Turkish President added that Turkey is an important country for European countries in view of the rapidly changing political and economic situation of the world, but some EU member states are promoting conflicts instead of good relations.
President Irwan further said that we do not want any tension with any of our neighboring countries or any other country. The Eastern Mediterranean and the Aegean want to be resolved within the scope of international law, but the facts of the island of Cyprus need to be recognized.
It should be noted that there has been tension between Turkey and Greece over the issue of Cyprus, and in this regard, Greece recently released a strong statement criticizing Turkey.
