A new twist in the controversy over Shahrukh's new movie Pathan

New Delhi: The controversy arising from the criticism of Indian extremists on Shahrukh Khan’s new movie Pathan has taken a new turn.

According to Indian media, Bollywood’s Big B Amitabh Bachchan recently attended the opening ceremony of the Kolkata Film Festival and Shah Rukh Khan was also present in this event.

Addressing the event, Amitabh Bachchan spoke about pre-independence films and expressed his views on issues ranging from communalism to social unity, British censorship, repression and other issues.

The Indian actor expressed concern about freedom of speech and civil liberties in India and said that many years have passed since the country became independent, but even today questions are raised about freedom of speech and civil liberties.

After his speech, media reports are saying that by doing this, Amitabh Bachchan may have hinted at Shahrukh Khan’s film Pathan and Deepika and Shahrukh Khan’s song Beshram Rang, who created controversy.

It should be noted that Indian extremists have demanded a ban on the film due to actress Deepika’s dancing in a saffron dress, while Shah Rukh is sure that no one will be able to stop ‘Pathan’ from being released.
