A powerful blast in the mosque in Afganistan: 4 worshipers were martyred and 10 injured 

Kabul: There was a powerful explosion in the Jama Masjid “Wazir Akbar Khan” in the capital of Afghanistan, in which many worshipers were reported to have been martyred, but the number has not been confirmed yet.

According to the Afghan media, there was a loud explosion at the Kabul Wazir Akbar Khan Jama Masjid when the worshipers were coming out of the mosque.

The intensity of the explosion was so high that the windows of cars parked nearby were broken and the buildings were shaken.

As soon as the explosion was reported, the Taliban officials reached the scene and cordoned off the area so that there would be no hindrance in the rescue operations. More than two dozen worshipers have been transferred to a nearby hospital.

There are reports of the martyrdom of worshipers in the blast, but the number has not been confirmed yet. Hospital sources confirmed 4 testimonies to foreign media journalists and told them that more than 10 injured people have also been brought.

According to the police, the initial investigation suggests that the blast was caused by a magnetic bomb.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blast, however, since the establishment of the Taliban government, Daesh Khorasan has been involved in such incidents and the Taliban government had also conducted a crackdown against them.
