Abu Dhabi: A vehicle collided with a concrete pillar outside the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, as a result of which two people were killed and one seriously injured.
According to Arab media, the traffic department said in a statement that the preliminary investigation revealed that the accident occurred due to the driver losing control of the vehicle. The vehicle veered off the track and hit a concrete pillar in front of the hospital reception.
The traffic department’s control center dispatched police, ambulance and rescue teams to the spot as soon as the information was received. The injured in the accident were admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Abu Dhabi Police has urged citizens and expatriates to drive carefully and obey the rules to avoid traffic accidents.
