Afghanistan: The decision of the Afghan government to close beauty salons throughout the country in 10 days

Kabul: The Taliban government of Afghanistan has given a 10-day deadline to the female shopkeepers in the Afghan city of Mazar-e-Sharif to close their shops and to close beauty parlors in the city of Puli Khumri.

In Afghanistan, women have been prohibited from pursuing higher education, working in NGOs.

The Balkh Provincial Department of Law and Order says that men and women are working together in Mazar-e-Sharif, so they ordered the female shopkeepers to close their shops.

On the other hand, the owners of beauty parlors in Puli  Khumri city say that the governor of Baghlan province has ordered them to close the parlors within 10 days, after which the salons won’t be allowed to work.
