Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has donated 15 lakh Indian rupees for the heart transplant of a female patient.
Akshay Kumar is often mocked because of his Canadian citizenship, but nobody can deny that he is one of those artists who always look forward to helping those in need.
The actor is again in the media headlines for his generosity, when he came to know that a 25-year-old girl in Delhi was in urgent need of money for a heart transplant, so he donated Rs 15 lakh.
According to Yogendra, the grandfather of the patient girl, Akshay Kumar came to know about our need through dr. Chandra Prakash decided to help.
Yogandra further said that now we are only looking for a heart donor, everything else regarding the transplant has been done.
The 55-year-old actor was last seen in the movie ‘Ram Sethu’ which released on October 2022.
