Washington: The oldest American woman who survived the First and Second World Wars, pandemics like the Spanish Flu and Covid-19, and historical events like the Great Depression has died at the age of 115.

Bessie Hendricks, a 115-year-old woman from Iowa, was considered the oldest living person in the United States.

Bessie Hendricks was born on November 7, 1907 and was named America’s oldest living person by the Los Angeles Gerontology Research Group.
