America's first female news anchor and broadcaster, Babra Walters, has died at the age of 93

Washington: America’s first female newscaster and broadcaster Babra Walters died at the age of 93. Babra Walters, who won 12 Emmy Awards, became a newscaster on American TV in 1976.

Babra Walters was also honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in 2000. In her career, Babra Walters has covered every American president from Richard Nixon to Donald Trump, as well as Cuba’s Fidel Castro to Russia. Interviewed everyone from Vladimir Putin.
