An attempt to smuggle 30 kilograms of hashish in Jazan province of Saudi Arabia failed

RIYADH: An attempt to smuggle 30 kilograms of hashish has been thwarted in Bandargah al-Deer governorate, located in the southwest of Jazan province of Saudi Arabia, and the border guards have arrested four Ethiopians.

Yesterday, according to the Saudi News Agency, Ethiopians were trying to smuggle drugs through the Saudi port when border security officers found 30 kilograms of hashish during the search. The four drug smugglers have been detained.

Saudi authorities have said they will continue to crack down on drug traffickers inside and outside the country while trying to ensure the safety of people’s lives and property.
