Moscow: The bridge connecting Russia and Crimea on the Kerch Strait was blown up, as a result of which 3 people were killed and several others were injured.
According to the World News Agency, a truck was detonated on the automobile part of the Crimean Bridge from the Taman Peninsula, causing seven fuel tanks to burn on the train heading to the Crimean Peninsula.

The bridge over the Kerch Strait connects Russia with its annexed territory of Crimea and is also the route to Ukraine. This also gives an idea of the military importance of this bridge.
After the blast, the traffic on the bridge was disrupted and clouds of smoke filled the atmosphere. So far 3 people have been confirmed dead in the explosion. The explosion took place in a truck passing over the bridge.

So far, the nature and cause of the explosion in the truck has not been determined and no group or the Ukrainian army has accepted the responsibility for the explosion. Russia formed a commission of inquiry to investigate the blast.
