Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, has said that he has done many strange things in his life to save billions of people from diseases.
Bill Gates said in a blog post that “I’ve done some weird things over the years, like drink water made of human waste, go on stage with a jar full of human waste and smell the toilet.”
He said that ‘Some people laughed at this but my aim is to solve this problem of people which affects 3.6 billion people and that problem is poor drainage system’.
He said that ‘thanks to scientists and experts around the world, we have come close to new solutions for disease and disease prevention’.
In Bill Gates’ post, he talked about the problem that he has been working on for years to solve.
In a blog post in July, he said, ‘Living without a toilet is not only a nuisance but also a life-threatening one, with unsafe drainage systems contaminating water, surfaces and food, increasing the risk of disease and death. ‘
Bill Gates spoke on stage with a jar full of human waste during a conference in Beijing in 2018 to raise awareness about the issue.
According to Bill Gates’ new blog, smart toilets that don’t require drainage systems are needed to prevent this problem.
He said that according to recent estimates, 5 lakh children under the age of 5 die every year due to cholera and other diseases related to drainage.
Bill Gates said that in the next phase we will use all the best ideas to develop low-cost toilets.
