Washington: The home address of American singer Billie Eilish was leaked to more than two lakh people.
In America, there is a phone app called ‘Citizen’ which gives the citizens moment by moment information about the happenings around them.
Billie Eilish’s parents’ house in Los Angeles was allegedly broken into by burglars, a notification was released on the app, with the singer’s address also going to users.
According to an estimate, 178,000 users received the notification with Billie Eilish’s home address.
The app later attributed the house to a generic street address, having previously been labeled as the singer’s home.
On the other hand, the police have arrested the suspect who broke into the childhood home of Billie Eilish.
