According to the British media, the spokesperson of the Canadian government has said that there are unacceptable risks to privacy and security by using the TikTok application.
A Canadian government spokesperson says the decision was made following a review by the Chief Information Officer.
On the other hand, the Tik Tok spokesperson has expressed disappointment over the decision of Canada.
It should be noted that the White House in America has given 30 days to the federal agencies to implement the ban on TikTok.
According to foreign media, government agencies have 30 days to delete TikTok from federal equipment and systems.
Earlier, the European Commission has also banned Chinese video sharing app TikTok.
