Beijing: The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry has said that we oppose unilateral and illegal US sanctions against Iran.
According to foreign media reports, Chinese spokesperson Mao Ning said that we oppose any pretext, interference in the internal affairs of countries, color revolutions in the name of democracy and human rights.
The Chinese government has always opposed US illegal sanctions on Iran. It should be remembered that the US Treasury Department imposed new sanctions against Iranian officials, including the Minister of Interior and Communications, under the pretext of the recent unrest in Iran.
As a continuation of Washington’s interference in Iran’s internal affairs, the US Treasury Department imposed sanctions against some Iranian officials, including Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi and Minister of Communications and Information Technology Isa Zarapour.
