England won the series after defeating Pakistan in the final deciding match of the T20 series

Lahore: In the final and decisive match of the seven-match T20 series played between Pakistan and England, England won the series 3-4 by defeating Pakistan by 67 runs.

In the match played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan captain Babar Azam invited England to bat first after winning the toss. The English team scored 209 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, David Mullan was prominent by scoring 78 runs.

England got off to a good start against Pakistan, the two openers put on a 39-run partnership but then Alex Hales was dismissed for 18 runs.

The English team suffered another loss in the form of Phil Salt, who was run out for 20, besides Ben Duckett returning to the pavilion for 30 runs.

Pakistan team could score 142 runs at the loss of eight players in the allotted overs. All-rounder Shadab Khan suffered a hamstring strain while fielding due to which he could not bat in the match.
