Istanbul: There has been a loud explosion in the Turkish city of Istanbul, as a result of which 37 people have been injured and 7 people have died.
According to media reports, the explosion took place in Istanbul’s busiest area, Taksim Square, immediately after the explosion, the rescue teams arrived, who gave medical aid to the injured and transferred them to a nearby hospital.
Immediately after the blast, law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area, the bomb disposal squad has been called to ascertain the nature of the blast, eyewitnesses say the blast was a suicide attack.
As soon as the explosion happened, there was a stampede, fear and panic arose among the people, a large number of tourists came to visit the place where the explosion took place, the possibility of more casualties is being shown.
