FIFA World Cup: Senegal beat Qatar 3-1

Doha: Senegal defeated Qatar by three goals to one in the match of Group A in the FIFA World Cup.

In the game played on Friday, Bouloy scored the first goal on behalf of Senegal in the 41st minute, while Famara scored the second goal 7 minutes later to give the team a 2-0 lead.

However, in the 78th minute of the match, Mohammad Mantari of Qatar scored a goal, but then in the 84th minute, Bamba of Senegal scored the third goal. The score was 1-3 at the scheduled time and Senegal defeated the host Qatar.

In Group A, Qatar still has one match to play, but after losing 2 matches in a row, Qatar’s hopes of reaching the pre-quarter finals of the World Cup died. Qatar is the first team to be eliminated from the current World Cup.

The group includes Ecuador and Netherlands along with Senegal in the race to reach the next round.
