Abu Dhabi: The government has issued a passport to an Israeli child born in the UAE.
According to the international news agency, the United Arab Emirates issued the first Israeli passport. This passport was issued to an Israeli infant who was born in the UAE.
Israeli Ambassador to UAE Amir Hayek wrote in his tweet that another happy moment was when the first Israeli passport was given to an Israeli child born here in the UAE.

It should be noted that in September 2020, diplomatic relations between the UAE and Israel were established under the US-brokered Ibrahim Agreement, and in the same year, four more Arab countries restored relations with Israel.
On the other hand, Azerbaijan has also announced to open its embassy in Israel today. This embassy will be opened in Tel Aviv, while Israel has its own embassy in Azerbaijan’s capital, Baku, since 1993.
Azerbaijan is a Shia-majority country with strong relations with Iran, but despite Iran’s opposition, Azerbaijan announced the opening of its embassy.
