Former American President Trump's tax returns were made public

Washington: Former US President Donald Trump’s tax returns have been released to the public.

In the past few days, US lawmakers have voted in favor of releasing the tax returns of former President Donald Trump to the public.

In the committee of the US House of Representatives, 24 votes were cast in favor of revealing Donald Trump’s tax returns from 2015 to 2020 while 16 were against, all the members who opposed were Republicans.

However, now Trump’s six years of tax returns have been made public.

On the other hand, the Trump administration reacted to Friday’s release of thousands of pages of tax returns, warning that the process would divide American politics.

The Trump administration said in a statement that Democrats should not have done this while the Supreme Court should not have approved the decision, which would lead to terrible things.

It should be noted that according to the law, the US president is not required to disclose his tax returns, but for decades US presidents have been doing it voluntarily, while the former US president Donald Trump made all efforts to hide his tax returns.

In 2020, the New York Times, an American newspaper, claimed to have access to 18 years of Donald Trump’s tax returns.
