In Iran: Mahsa Amini death protest, 3 more protesters were sentenced to death 

Tehran: An Iranian court has sentenced three more protesters to death for murdering security forces officers who were arrested during the nationwide protests over the death of young girl Mehsa Amini in police custody.

According to the World News Agency, after 3 more protesters were sentenced to death in Iran, the total number has reached 17 while 4 protesters have been hanged.

Iran’s court sentenced the 3 protesters to death today on charges of war against the law of Allah, playing into the hands of the enemies of the country and harming the state’s ideals, as well as murdering the security forces.

The spokesperson of the court says that the punishment has been given after receiving solid evidence against these accused, the accused have the right to appeal against the sentence in the Supreme Court.

It should be noted that two days ago two protesters were hanged in Iran for torturing and killing a security officer by stripping them naked during the protest. So far, 4 protestors have been hanged.

It should be noted that more than 400 people, including 46 security personnel, have been killed so far during the protests that broke out over the death of a young Kurdish girl in police custody in September last year.
