New Delhi: Another shameful incident of Hindu extremism has come to light in India in which a Muslim youth was brutally tortured for speaking to a Hindu girl.
According to Indian media, a 20-year-old Muslim youth was assaulted in the Dakshina Kanda district of Karnataka state just because he spoke to a 17-year-old Hindu girl at a bus stand.
According to media reports, a case has also been registered against the Muslim boy under the laws of protection of children from sexual harassment, while the FIR has also been filed against 12 people for torturing the boy.
According to Indian media, a Muslim boy and a Hindu girl became friends through social media and both often used to meet each other at the bus stop, but on January 5, when they were talking to each other at the bus stop, some people suddenly approached them. Paachne and the boy were kidnapped and taken with them in a jeep and then taken to a remote location where he was severely tortured.
According to media reports, the Muslim boy says that the abductors also threatened to kill him if he tried to meet the girl again. On the other hand, the father of the girl has also registered a case against the boy for sexually harassing his daughter.
