New Delhi: In India, the father was killed in a dispute over his son’s friendship and work in another caste.
According to the Indian media, the incident took place in the city of Bareilly, India, where the father Muhammad Sartaj, who came to save his son Rashid in a fight, was beaten to death with a hockey stick by opponents.
According to media reports, Shahrukh’s father Mohammad Sartaj was hit by hockey, after which he became unconscious, later he and Shahrukh were shifted to the hospital for treatment, where father Sartaj succumbed to his injuries, while Shah Rukh’s injuries were bandaged and he was sent home.
In an interview given to Indian media, Shahrukh told that he was talking to his friends outside the house when a boy named Rashid from the neighborhood came with his friends and started beating him for no reason. Mohammad Sartaj tried to save me, but Rashid and his friends also tortured him to death with hockey sticks.
Shah Rukh further said that my brother works with some people belonging to other castes and they often come to our house which we don’t mind.
Indian police say that an FIR has been registered against the four boys.
