A husband killed his wife for refusing to give her food in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.
According to media reports, 38-year-old accused Yogendra Shrivas was a compounder in a clinic who came back from work and asked 32-year-old Manjeeta for food, to which she refused and a fight started between the two.
During the fight, Yogendra stabbed his wife with an ax, after which she started screaming, hearing the screams, their children, 8-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter, reached there and found the mother covered in blood.
Seeing this, the children immediately informed the neighbors, after which Yogender himself informed the police and confessed to his crime, after which he was arrested.
According to the police, it has been found in the investigation that the couple often used to fight over trivial matters, but this type of fight happened for the first time.
