Srinagar: Another Kashmiri youth was martyred in the aggression of Indian Army in occupied Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the occupying Indian army searched houses in the name of search operation in Rajouri district of Jannat Nazir Valley. During this time women were mistreated and elders were harassed.
The aggressor Indian army fired indiscriminately on a house, resulting in the martyrdom of a Kashmiri youth. The Indian Army refused to hand over the dead body to the family members in gross violation of human rights.
On the other hand, Kashmir police claimed that the youth was killed in the encounter. The body will be handed over to the next of kin after the completion of legal proceedings, however, the family members and residents of the area dismissed the police claim as false.
Local residents and family members also protested against the killing of the youth and shouted slogans against the Indian army. The protestors also held up placards and banners in favor of Kashmir’s independence struggle.
