According to the international media, Saudi Arabia has decided that Indian citizens will not need to provide a police clearance certificate to obtain a visa to Saudi Arabia. This was also confirmed by the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in New Delhi.

In a tweet from the embassy on the social networking site Twitter, it was stated that in view of the strong relationship and strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and India, Saudi Arabia has decided to waive the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) to Indian citizens.
