Washington DC: Indian-Americans in two major US states, Texas and California, protested strongly against the growing persecution of Muslims in India under the leadership of Narendra Modi.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the protestors in Dallas, Texas, led by the famous American Islamic scholar Sheikh Umar Suleiman, said, “We will keep telling Modi that you are a coward and you will not be welcome in Texas.” The protest was jointly organized by the Indian American Muslim Council (IAMC) and the North Texas Peace Advocates (NTPA).

Sheikh Alauddin Al Bakri of the Islamic Society of North America held another protest organized by the IAMC in which more than 500 protesters joined. Sheikh Sulaiman also raised the question that Modi, who was banned from entering the US from 2005 to 2014, is now being embraced by politicians of both parties in the US. are He asked what has changed now that a man who could never even enter this country can now address the Congress.

Sheikh Alauddin Al Bakri condemned the persecution of Muslims in India and said that I was talking to a person in Palestine who asked me to support the Indian Muslim brothers and sisters and tell them that we are with them. Protesters in Dallas chanted “We stand with Afrin Fatimah, stop the Muslim genocide in India.”
