Israel government frees world's oldest prisoner

Occupied Jerusalem: The occupying Israeli government has released the oldest prisoner in the world.

According to foreign media, the occupying Israeli government released a Palestinian prisoner who had spent 40 years in Israeli prison.

According to media reports, Israeli authorities released 66-year-old Karim Yunus from a prison north of Tel Aviv on Thursday morning.

Karim Younes, who was arrested in 1983 on charges of killing an Israeli soldier on the occupied Golan Heights, was released on Thursday outside the prison by a large crowd of friends and the public.

In an interview given to the Arab media after his release, Karim Younis said that I was released but I left behind other prisoners, I hope that we will soon celebrate the release of all these prisoners.
