The All-Party Hurriyat Conference has appealed to celebrate the Right to Self-Determination Day today and accordingly, Kashmiris around the Line of Control and all over the world are celebrating the Right to Self-Determination Day today.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said in his statement that the United Nations should implement the commitments it made 74 years ago.
The Prime Minister made it clear that Pakistan will continue to support the right of the people of Occupied Kashmir to self-determination as per the Security Council resolutions.
It should be noted that the Security Council in the resolution of 5 January 1949 recognized the right of self-determination of Kashmiris.
