Riyadh: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, received an invitation from Algerian President Abdul Majid Taboun to attend the Arab Summit in November 2022.
According to the Saudi news agency SPA, the envoy of the Algerian president and the minister of justice Abdul Rashid Al-Tabi met with the Saudi minister of state for foreign affairs and member of the cabinet and envoy for environmental affairs Adel al-Jubeir at the Foreign Office in Riyadh and handed over the invitation. And Saudi Minister of State Adel Al-Jubeir reviewed the fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and Algeria and ways to strengthen them in various fields. Positions on issues of mutual interest were also exchanged.
On this occasion, the Director General of the Office of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Khaled Al-Anqari, and the Acting Secretary of Protocol, Abdul Majeed Al-Sammari, were also present. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, met with the Minister of Defense Benny Gaines during his visit to Israel.
According to WAM, the official news agency of the UAE, several high-level diplomats of both countries were also present in this meeting.
