MUMBAI: Superstar Aamir Khan’s new film faced a systematic boycott in India and was pulled from theaters for poor performance, but at the international box office, ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ has become the highest-grossing film of 2022.
According to international media reports, the film has earned more than seven and a half million dollars worldwide within a week of its release.
Aamir Khan’s film has overtaken Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gangubhai Kathiyawadi’ and Anupam Kher’s ‘Kashmir Files’ in its worldwide grosses.
‘Lal Singh Chadha’ is yet to release in China. Mr. Perfect is very popular in China and before that ‘Dangal’ and ‘Secret Superstar’ have become popular in China.
The film has been made with a huge sum of 1.8 billion Indian rupees but failed to attract the audience in India.
