New York: A fire in the lithium batteries in the United States scared the passengers, after which the plane had to be taken down on the runway.
The incident took place on December 25 when a JetBlue flight was coming from Barbados to New York and people were on their way to their Christmas vacation destinations. Suddenly, a fire broke out somewhere in the plane and the plane was immediately taken off and the people were quickly moved to the road.
JetBlue flight number 662 was expertly landed on the runway of JFK airport. However, it was initially said that the laptop battery had caught fire, but later US Air Force officials confirmed that the fire was caused by a cell phone battery.
However, when people descended the emergency slide to the floor, seven of them sustained minor injuries, none of whom required hospital admission.
