Sydney: Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has surpassed Pakistan’s former spinner and current bowling coach Saqlain Mushtaq’s world record.

In the third game against Zimbabwe, Mitchell Starc broke the previous record for the quickest 200 wicket haul by removing Ryan Brill of that country.

Mitchell Starc became the quickest bowler to double century in ODIs after taking 200 wickets in 102 matches.

Saqlain Mushtaq of Pakistan grabbed 200 wickets in 104 games, compared to Brett Lee’s 112 games, Alan Donald’s 117 games, and Waqar Younis’ 118 games.
