Rabat: 13 people died when a boat capsized in Morocco, while 24 passengers were rescued by taking timely action.
According to a foreign news agency, the boat sinking incident happened on Friday while 45 passengers were on board the boat that suffered the accident.
It has been further informed by the news agency that as soon as the incident was reported, prompt action was taken and 24 drowning people were saved, the bodies of 13 people have been recovered while the search for 8 missing people is still going on.
According to the news agency, all the passengers on board the boat were Moroccan nationals who were trying to go to the Canary Islands of Spain.
