Doha: In the second semi-final of the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the defending champions France defeated Morocco and crushed their dream of reaching the final.

In the match played at the Albeit Stadium, the French team took the lead in the fifth minute. This goal was scored by Hernandez. After this goal, the Moroccan team increased its attacks on the rival team, but their players could not score. There was one zero.
In the second half, Morocco changed tactics and played an attacking game, despite having several opportunities to score, they could not make up for the deficit, while Kolo Moani scored in the 79th minute to reduce France’s lead to two zeros.
Morocco made a flurry of attacks in the last few minutes but were unsuccessful and the match ended in a 2-0 victory for France.
