Portugal’s star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo officially joined the Saudi club Al Nassr.

Ronaldo along with his family arrived in the Saudi capital yesterday in a private jet where they were warmly welcomed.

His official arrival ceremony was held at Mersol Park Stadium, the event was attended by Ronaldo and Nasr fans in large numbers.

Cristiano Ronaldo talked about joining Saudi club Al Nassr while holding a press conference.

According to the British broadcasting organization BBC, Ronaldo said in the press conference that my work in Europe is done, I was offered to play in many places before signing a contract with Al Nassr.

The 37-year-old footballer said that after leaving Manchester United, I also received offers from Brazil, Australia, America and Portugal, but I had given my word to the Saudi club Al Nassr.

“I have won everything, I have played for the best club in Europe, now there is a new test in Asia,” said Ronaldo. My contract with Al Nassr is unique, I’m also a unique player, so it’s normal for me.”

According to reports, a two-and-a-half-year contract has been reached between Ronaldo and the Saudi club, under which Al Nassr Club will pay him 213 million dollars as compensation.
