Yangon: A Myanmar court sentenced arrested leader Aung San Suu Kyi to another 6 years in prison for corruption.
According to a foreign news agency, Aung San Suu Kyi has been sentenced to three years in 2 cases. Sentences have been handed down.
Aung San Suu Kyi was sentenced to 26 years in prison after a Myanmar court sentenced her to 6 more years on corruption charges.
It should be noted that the 77-year-old Aung San Suu Kyi was detained on February 1, 2021 after the army in Myanmar overthrew her elected government.
