According to the World News Agency, Iranian-born social activist Nazanin Zaghari Ratcliffe released a video of cutting her hair on social media to express solidarity with the Kurdish girl Mehsa Amini, who died in police custody.
In the video, she can be heard cutting her hair and saying ‘in the name of Muhsa, for Pooya, for Mustafa, for Nilofar, for Sepida, for Nargis, for Maryam and Murad, for Siamak. For, for Parsa and my mother, for my daughter Gisa, for Zahra, for Kisra, against the fear of loneliness, for fear greater than the truth, for the freedom and justice of the women of my country’.
