New York: Normal life was paralyzed in the US state of New York due to an unusual snow storm.

According to American media reports, the western regions of New York state are under the grip of a severe snow storm. So far over 6 feet of snow has fallen.

Due to the continuous snowfall, traffic was suspended due to the ice layer in the roads and streets. Hundreds of passengers were stranded at the airports due to several flight cancellations.

According to the Governor of New York, 250 people trapped in the snow storm were rescued. The work of removing snow from the roads is going on, but rescue workers are facing difficulties due to continuous snowfall.

Power supply to several houses was suspended due to the snowfall affecting the electricity and communication system. Officials have instructed people not to leave their homes unnecessarily.
