An extraordinary session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned the provocative visit of an Israeli minister to Al-Aqsa Mosque and reiterated the central importance of the Palestinian issue.

According to the Arab media, the meeting of the OIC was chaired by the Secretary General, in which the Israeli policies and actions against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and occupied Jerusalem have been rejected, declaring that Jerusalem is close to the heart of the entire Islamic Ummah.
