California: Actor Will Smith’s film will be released this year despite slapping comedian Chris Rock during the Academy Awards ceremony.
The film’s distributor, Apple Inc., has released a trailer for the Will Smith-starrer ‘Emence Passion’.
The film tells the story of a man who escapes from slavery, while the film will be released in December this year.
Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock on stage during the live event for making a joke about his wife during the Academy Awards ceremony in February.
Will Smith has since apologized to the film academy and the public for slapping Chris Rock.
Will Smith has been banned from attending the awards ceremony for 10 years by the Oscars Academy following the incident, but he is still eligible to receive nominations and receive Academy Awards.
