New York: Bollywood actress Priyanka has supported the ongoing women’s protest movement in Iran and said that ‘these women cannot be crushed and their voice cannot be suppressed.’
While political and social women from various countries around the world are coming forward in support of Iranian women, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has also raised her voice in support of Iranian women.
Priyanka Chopra Jones shared a post on social media in support of Iranian women, in which she wrote that ‘women in Iran and around the world are standing up for their rights and protesting in different ways for Mehsa Amini, who He had to lose his life at the hands of the moral police of Iran.
The actress further wrote that ‘when the voices that have been forcibly suppressed for years rise, they erupt like a volcano and these voices cannot be suppressed in any way, I am amazed by your purpose and your courage’.
He said that it is not an easy task to raise your voice against the society or the establishment and to risk your life by raising your voice for your right and you are fearlessly doing it every day.
