Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin has had a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to foreign media, during the telephone conversation between the two leaders, the issue of leakage in the submarine pipelines was discussed.

During the conversation, Russian President Putin described sabotage against the Nord Stream gas pipelines as global terrorism.

It should be noted that the investigation of the mysterious leakage in two Russian pipelines supplying gas to Europe has been started on an emergency basis.

Both pipelines pass through the Baltic Sea near Sweden and Denmark, and European security sources say that two undersea explosions were recorded before the gas leak in Nord Stream One and Two.
