Doha: In the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the star player of Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo, has achieved an important world record.

Ronaldo became the first footballer in the world to score in 5 FIFA World Cup tournaments.

Ronaldo, who is playing his fifth World Cup for Portugal, achieved the feat by scoring a penalty against Ghana in the opening game of the World Cup on Thursday.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first World Cup goal in 2006, after which he scored goals in 2010, 2014, 2018 and now 2022 World Cup as well.
