Russia bans oil exports to Western countries that set a price cap for Russian oil, President Putin signs decree.
According to the decree of the Russian President Putin, the countries that will set the price limit of Russian oil will not be able to export Russian crude oil and Russian oil products.
The ban on Russian oil exports to such countries will come into force on February 1, 2023 and will continue until July 1, the decree said.
It should be noted that this month, the European Union, the Group of Seven world powers and Australia agreed to set Russian oil prices at $60 per barrel against the Russian attack on Ukraine.
