Russian President Putin has announced a temporary ceasefire in Ukraine, he has announced this on the eve of Orthodox Christians’ Christmas.
The spiritual leader of Russia had requested a cease fire from President Putin.
According to the statement issued by the Kremlin, accepting the request of the spiritual leader Kirill, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation has been instructed to observe a cease-fire from 12 noon on January 6 to 12 midnight on January 7.
In the statement, it was said that there should be a complete ceasefire in all places with Ukraine.
The Kremlin said that Ukraine should also declare a ceasefire so that people can observe Christmas rituals.
