Riyadh: On the pattern of India’s Indian Idol, the government has also announced a talent show program named “Saudi Idol”.
According to media reports, the chairman of the board of directors of Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Entertainment, Turki Al Sheikh, launched the unique Saudi program “Saudi Idol”. Iraqi composer Majid Ali will be included.
The Saudi program will be presented in partnership with MBS Group and General Entertainment Authority, which will be aired in two phases.
The first phase of Arab Idol will begin from mid-December, which will be experimental. After that, the second phase of live shows will be launched on 11 January 2023.
It should be noted that such a program is being presented for the first time in Saudi Arabia’s history.
