ISLAMABAD: Saudi Prime Minister and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman’s visit to Pakistan has been postponed.
According to government sources, due to the postponement of Muhammad bin Salman’s visit to Asia, his intention to visit Pakistan was also postponed. The Saudi Prime Minister will now go straight to Bali, Indonesia, where he will attend the G20 Summit.
Saudi diplomatic sources are confirming the postponement of Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Pakistan, but there is no confirmation or denial from the government.
It should be noted that the visit of the Saudi Crown Prince to Pakistan was scheduled in the third week of November, which was confirmed by the Saudi Embassy. Besides, on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s visit to Saudi Arabia, Muhammad bin Salman mentioned the visit to Pakistan.
On the other hand, it was revealed from diplomatic sources that Pakistan is expected to receive an additional bailout package of 4.2 billion dollars during the visit of the Saudi Crown Prince, while there were possibilities of agreements between the two countries regarding investments in various sectors.
