RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has announced the start of work on the master plan and infrastructure of the Re Al Madinah project, which is being implemented in the area east of the Prophet’s Mosque.
According to Arab media, this project belongs to the Public Investment Fund, it is being implemented by Re-Al-Madinah Holding Company, under the project, property development will be done in Madinah, Public Investment Fund to develop the emerging sectors on modern lines under the Saudi Vision 2030. Koshan, this project is a link in the same chain.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that this project will help in improving the arrangements for hosting 30 million Umrah pilgrims by 2030 and will fulfill the goals of Vision 2030 in this regard.
He said that this project will be implemented according to international standards, the Saudi government wants to provide high quality services to the pilgrims of Madinah. The services are proof that pilgrims have reached a truly Islamic and cultural pilgrimage site that is in line with modern requirements.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that this project will be established on an area of 1.5 million square meters, under which 47,000 guest units will be established by 2030, there will be open courtyards and greenery, visitors will feel pleasure during their visit to Masjid Nabawi. 63% of the area of the project will be used for greenery and open spaces, 9 stands will be built for visitor buses, a metro station and an auto track will also be built under the project.
There will be all such arrangements including underground car parking, thanks to which pilgrims will be able to visit Masjid Nabawi.
