Despite Shakira’s possible 8-year prison sentence for tax fraud, her social media popularity hasn’t diminished.
Going by the singer’s Instagram account, she only follows 152 Instagram users, including her former partner Gerard Pique.
Shakira is facing some legal difficulties in a tax fraud case of $14.31 million by a Spanish court.
Shakira has turned down an offer to settle the tax fraud case and will now face a court hearing in the case where she could be sentenced to 8 years in prison.
The court allowed the case to proceed, but the date for the hearing of the case is yet to be announced.
